BIOGRAPHY James Scott, born January 14, 1979, in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, is a British actor, best known for his roles in two US soaps, "All My Children" and "Days of Our Lives."
Born and raised in England, Scott went to boarding school for boys in Lancaster, Lancashire, until the age of 16 when he left home and moved to Edinburgh where he embraced the arts in a city famous for its fringe theatre and arts. Scott began his career working in the music Industry promoting clubs and DJ-ing in Edinburgh, Newcastle, York and London. He began acting in community theatre in York and shortly after moved to London to be nearer to the heart of the theatre community, where he studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, (LAMDA).
While in London, Scott began modeling which brought him to the Unites States, spending an average on one week a month there. During a modeling trip to Los Angeles, he audited an acting class at the Ivana Chubbuck studio in Hollywood. The class inspired him to save money and make the move to Los Angeles and study acting for two years. Scott's big break came in 2004 when was cast on the soap opera All My Children, his first television job in the U.S.. He originated the role of Ethan Cambias in August 2004 and played it until February 2006.
Scott has since moved on to Days of our Lives where he originated the role of EJ Wells in May 2006. View GALLERY:
