BIOGRAPHY Joe Manganiello, born December 28, 1976, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an American actor.
Manganiello graduated from the suburban Mt. Lebanon High School in 1995, where he was a letterman in football, basketball, and volleyball. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. Manganiello has appeared in "Spider-Man", where he portrayed Flash Thompson, and "Spider-Man 3", in which he reprised his role from the first film, though in a non-speaking capacity.
He has also appeared in numerous television shows, including "Jake in Progress", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Scrubs", "American Heiress", a recurring role on "How I Met Your Mother" as well as "ER" as a love interest for nurse Sam Taggart, as well as in the fifth season of "One Tree Hill", just to name a few.
