BIOGRAPHY Markus Meyer, born May 11, 1971 in Cloppenburg, Lower Saxony, Germany, is a German actor.
Meyer studied biochemistry at the Technical University of Hanover. After completing this course, he suddenly changed his career aspirations, and began a drama course at the Berlin Academy of Dramatic Arts Ernst Busch, which he successfully completed in 2000. Meyer first acting job started in theatre. He polished his acting skills by performing frequently in Berlin at the "Deutsche Oper in the Volksbühne" and at the "Hans Otto Theater" in Potsdam.
Meyer made his TV debut in 2001 playing Aumerle in "Richard II". From there, his acting career has steadily grown, with him appearing in a number of TV series including "Ein Millionär zum Frühstück", "Leonce und Lena", "Vier Küsse und eine E-Mail", and then making his film debut in 2007 on the critically acclaimed movie "Karo und der liebe Gott" (Karo and God Himself).
