BIOGRAPHY Nolan Gerard Funk, born in 1986, in British Columbia, Canada, is a Canadian actor singer, and dancer, dubbed in 2009 as the "Next Zac Efron".
Funk landed his big break in 2009 starring in the Nickelodeon original movie called "Spectacular!". The film showcases him as a versatile performer featuring him as an actor, singer, dancer and even an acrobat. He will also be seen in the independent feature film "Triple Dog" hitting festivals by end of 2009. Funk has appeared in guest starring roles on TV shows such as "Supernatural", "The L Word", "Lie to Me", "Castle", and "Smallville" as well as a recurring role on "Aliens In America".
One of his first jobs was playing a mutant in X-Men 2. In 2007, Nolan Gerard was nominated for a Leo Award in 'Best Performance in a Youth or Children's Program or Series'. A former national gymnast and diver, Funk is also fluent in French. An avid environmentalist, he spent time growing up between horses, his backyard ravine and a gym. View GALLERY:
