BIOGRAPHY Scott Porter, born July 14, 1979, in Omaha, Nebraska, is an American actor, best known for his role Jason Street in the NBC drama series, "Friday Night Lights."
Porter attended Lake Howell High School in Winter Park, Florida. He later moved to New York City in 2005. Prior to joining the cast of Friday Night Lights, he played Matthew in the original cast of the Off-Broadway hit "Altar Boyz" and the award-winning "Toxic Audio." Porter's first TV appearance came in 2006, when he played the role of Casey Hughes in the CBS soap-opera, "As the World Turns" for 4 episodes.
Porter also plays the role of Colin Thompson, the more visible part of the duo that fronts the fictional band PoP!, in the movie "Music and Lyrics" (2007). Porter is scheduled to play Bobby in the remake of "Prom Night" (2008) and a small role in "Descent" (2007) as Brooks. View GALLERY:
