BIOGRAPHY Sergio Peris Mencheta, born April 7, 1975, in Madrid, Spain, is a Spanish actor.
Mencheta studied at the Lycee Francais de Madrid, originally wanted to pursue a career in Rugby but left the sport after being cast in a TV role in "Al salir de clase" (After School) between 1998 and 1999, in which he played the leading role that catapulted him to fame. In 2010, Mencheta made his international debut in the blockbuster science-fiction action-horror film "Resident Evil: Afterlife" and in the drama "Love Ranch" opposite big name hollywood stars such as Helen and Joe Pesci.
From then on, Mencheta has landed many starring roles in different countries such as France, Belgium and the United States, which allowed him to pursue his other passions -- travel and music. He can play several instruments, among which is the bassoon. View GALLERY:
