BIOGRAPHY Diego Serrano, born in Quito, Ecuador, on February 5, 1973, is an actor.
Serrano has appeared on The Young and the Restless as Diego Guttierez (2001-2003) and the long-running, defunct soap opera, Another World as Tomas Rivera (1993-1997). During Serrano’s childhood, he ironically did not watch television but rather played soccer. At 18, he won a "Star Search" (1983) modeling contest, and soon after started playing Tomas on "Another World" (1964). His big break came in 1999, when he starred alongside star Jennifer Love Hewitt on the Fox television series "Time of Your Life" (1999). The show garnered him plenty of attention, and he landed a role on another American soap opera on The Young and the Restless as Diego.
His other credits include Only in Miami (2006); F8 (2006); Kurtlar vadisi - Irak (2006) and has appeared in the 2005 gay-themed film The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green playing Kyle Underhill, a professional baseball player who comes out as gay and authors an autobiography.
