BIOGRAPHY Johnny Messner, born April 11, 1970 in Syracuse, New York, is an American actor who has had a number of movie and television series roles.
Messner attended college in San Diego where he studied communications and turned to acting after initially planning to be a sportscaster. His first TV role was playing the role of Rob Lane in the television series Guiding Light. He also starred as Detective Jack Hale in the FOX crime drama Killer Instinct and guest starred in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and the second season of The O.C..
Messner’s other acting credits include The Sweetest Thing (2002); Tears of the Sun (2003); Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (2004); Running Scared (2006) Messner lived in Europe for 13 years while his father served in the U.S. Airforce. He developed love for sports while playing on teams at military bases. Johnny says he's a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy. He is simple and a very down-to-earth person. He loves to cook, and is the most generous guy you'll ever know.
