BIOGRAPHY Jon Foster, born August 3, 1984, in Fairfield, Iowa of Jewish descent, is an American actor.
Foster is perhaps best known for his roles in 2004's The Door in the Floor, 2006's horror movie, Stay Alive, and 2006's NBC series Windfall. Winning the role of Eddie in the feature film “The Door in the Floor” helped establish Foster in the industry. For years, he has worked on his craft -- first while performing in local theaters in Iowa, and later, in Los Angeles with roles in television and feature films, including a riveting performance as young Michael Skakel in the TV movie “Murder in Greenwich.”
Since "The Door in the Floor," Foster appeared in the short-lived series "Life As We Know It". He completed principal photography in the lead role in the feature "Stay Alive," produced by McG; and most recently starred as Damien Cutler, a teen anxious to get away from his controlling parents in “Windfall,” NBC’s new mid-season drama. Foster has many diverse interests and talents that include playing drums, boxing, snowboarding, aggressive roller-blading and restoring classic muscle cars.
Foster lives in Los Angeles, and maintains an extremely close relationship with his older brother, also an actor Ben Foster. View GALLERY:
