BIOGRAPHY Fabian Hambuechen, born October 25, 1987, in Bergisch Gladbach, is a German gymnast.
Hambuechen became the bronze medallist at the men’s all-around finals during the World Championships in Aarhus (DEN). With that result he will be one of the favourites at the European Championships in Amsterdam. The 20 year old German won the third all-around medal in German gymnastics history, after Sylvio Kroll in 1985 and Andreas Wecker in 1993, especially on high bar where he competed with very high marks.
In 2007, Hambuechen was chosen as the face and body of a new Ad campaign for "EnBW", a German utility company. Hambuechen is 5"4' tall. His favorite food is pizza. His number one hobby is listening to hip hop music especially "50 cent". If he could describe himself in two words, he says, "spontaneous and fun."
