BIOGRAPHY Pawel Korzeniowski, born July 9, 1985 in Oswiecim, is a Polish swimmer, who won the 200 m butterfly at the 2005 World Aquatics Championships in Montreal.
Initially trained by Pawel Woznicki in Oswiecim-based Unia Oswiecim club, in 2005 he was transferred to Warsaw-based AZS AWF Warszawa club, where he is trained by Pawel Slominski. Korzeniowski first achieved Gold in 200 m butterfly at the 2005 World Aquatics Championships in Montreal. He repeated this feat the following year in Budafest at the 2006 European Championships in Aquatics. He won another Gold in 2007 at the European SC Championships held in Debrecen, Hungary.
His other notable achievements include Gold in 200 m Butterfly at the 2005 Trieste European Championships and Silver in 1500 m at the 2002 Junior European Championships. View GALLERY:
