BIOGRAPHY Peter Joppich, born on December 21, 1982 in Koblenz, Germany, is a German foil fencer.
Joppich is a three-time gold foil fencer medalist. His first gold was at the 2003 World Champion, a great achievement that came at the age of 21. He repeated this feat a few years later at the the foil 2006 World Fencing Championships after beating Andrea Baldini 15-14 in the final. He beat Baldini again in the 2007 final, 15-9, achieving another gold medal.
When not fencing, Joppich's hobbies include playing football, going to the movies and listening to music - his favorite are hip-hop and R&B. View GALLERY:
