GOSSIP! Furlong's Contract Terminated Hollywood casting agents are in a frenzy of excitement over reports that Edward Furlong has been dumped from the next Terminator movie. According to journalists Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith, Furlong's less-than-law-abiding ways have finally caught up with the 24-year-old actor.
After a string of problems following his starring appearance in 1991's Terminator 2 - including drug offenses and a charge for driving under the influence - his part as John Connor in Terminator 3 now looks set to be re-cast. The role of Connor, savior of the human race, is expected to be a central one in the top secret plot of the third in the series starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is scheduled to begin shooting in April 2002. -- WENN
