Gere Marries in Secret
The couple wed in a private outdoor service at their home in Pound Ridge, in upstate New York. Their two-year-old son Homer, and Carey's daughter from a previous marriage to actor Griffin Dunne, were the only guests in attendance. Gere, 52, split with supermodel Cindy Crawford in 1994. Lowell starred alongside Timothy Dalton in 1989 Bond film Licence to Kill. She has also had roles in Sleepless in Seattle and Leaving Las Vegas.
