BIOGRAPHY Jean Sarkozy, born September 1, 1986 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, is the son of Nicolas Sarkozy, President of France.
Sarkozy is a second-year law student at the Sorbonne (as of 2008) and an amateur actor. He also shares his father’s political ambitions. He ran for and was elected a Regional Councilor in the city of Neuilly-sur-Seine, France and a backroom activist for his father's Union for a Popular Movement (UMP), a centre-right party. Sarkozy has stepped into the spotlight in 2007 by trying to help his father’s reform initiatives gain the favor of the people. He has staged some plays in Paris that are geared towards demonstrating the benefits of a more free market and entrepreneurial France.
