Joel

Hi everyone! My name is Joel Dixon, I am a mix of French and Italian with a bit of bohemian chic which creates my romantic European look. I am 25 years young, stand 5'10" tall, and weigh 160lbs.

I grew up in Seattle, Washington and lived there until august 2008 when I moved down to Hollywood, California. Growing up in Seattle I did a lot of work in the theatre and focused on Shakespearean plays during my high school and college years. When I was 18 I signed with a modeling agency in Seattle.

I took a break from the arts and focused on my career and ended up being a general manager of a restaurant by the age of 23. By 24 I decided to pick modeling back up part time and I became passionate about it once again. I traveled back and fourth to LA many times for photoshoots and decided that is where life was meant to take me. I just finished participating in LA Fashion week and loved the experience. I am currently booking photoshoots for magazine covers and editorials and am continuing to move forward with great success.

 

Life isn't always easy, it is a tough fight to be successful. Everyone has their own personal battle to concur in order for them to move forward and achieve their results. I had a lot of people in the city I grew up in try to put me down and stop me from being successful. They would say or write negative things about me so that I would feel bad about myself. I learned to filter all information you receive and either use it as feedback to better yourself or let it go and move forward. Let that be a personal lesson, believe in yourself and nothing can stop you!

I am enjoying every part of life right now. Being in California is a magical place, you get the sun to energize you, the beach for surfing, the hills for hiking, and the palm trees for some much needed tropical appeal. If you want to find me out I'll be in the clubs in Hollywood hitting the dance floor with my amazing friends or I'll be chillin' at the beach catching the rays.
