Clark

Hey! This is Clark (Clarkie to some). I am twenty years old and am originally from Birmingham, Alabama. In early grade school, I moved to the Nashville, Tennessee, area and have lived here ever since. I am a student at a local college, studying Exercise Sciences with a focus on Kinesiology. I am a personal trainer, certified by a couple of organizations, and since early this year, I have been pursuing fitness/physique and commercial modeling. I enjoy working out, clubbing, music, movies, and hanging with friends.

I was always very physical and involved in sports. I began lifting weights seriously in high school for football in my senior year. I responded well and quickly and got many compliments, which pushed me even more. I read magazines and books to learn all the tips and tricks to take me to the next level. People were always asking for my advice and help with their workouts, and I enjoyed helping them. When I was finishing high school and needed to determine a direction for myself, fitness and personal training was an obvious choice.

I decided to pursue modeling because friends—male and female—who were doing it kept telling me that I should try it. I looked at many magazines and online sites and finally decided that most of those models were no better than me, so I gave it a shot! I have been going slowly in this part of my career while I am concentrating on school, but I’ve been lucky to get some attention and encouragement early on from people with influence in my part of the industry. I am ready to start taking advantage of those connections and realizing my potential. I plan for you to be seeing a lot of me very soon!
