Jordan Krakower

The name is Jordan Krakower. I was born, and for the most part, raised, in Ottawa Ontario, Canada. I currently attend school, however, just west of Toronto at Canada's top university, the University of Waterloo, studying Biochemistry and Biomedical Science.

I was first introduced to the modeling business by a very successful female friend of mine. She strongly urged me to go see her agent. It took a little bit of convincing, but I eventually called the agent up and sent up an appointment. I wasn't expecting anything to happen, but when I went in to see the agent, the first words out of her mouth were "you are beautiful!", and so began my male modeling adventure.

I have been told I have a very unique look which would be best suited for the high fashion industry in Europe and Asia, but I would not like to just limit myself to one area. I would love to be able to travel, but I have not traveled anywhere exotic because of modeling yet. However, my interests are not only in modeling, I wouldn't mind having a go at acting.

When I'm not modeling or in class or studying, I spend the bulk of my remaining free time training and competing with the varsity swim team. I have been swimming since age 12, and quite enjoy it.
