Zachary

My name is Zachary Chitwood. I grew up in Springfield, MO. I attended SMSU for 4 years. During college I became certified in personal training and performance nutrition.

Beginning at the early age of 5, I was competitive and yearned for the feeling of competition. I grew up with a very strong athletic background. I went to state in track and I played one year of college basketball. I had a back injury that stopped my basketball career. Therefore, I got deep into fitness. I started training all the time and reading fitness magazines. I had my first big photo shoot with Eric Jacobson of Impact Photography. Once I got the pictures back, I was stunned. I had to try and take this to the next level.

My extreme drive has given me the confidence to pursue my goals and encouraged me to make the move to Hollywood. I met a manager in 2003 and made the move to Los Angeles. I was blessed to land a good commercial/print agent the first week in L.A. I continued to test and build my book. I started going on castings and landed some good gigs. I got into a couple commercial workshops and started studying acting. I shot a few shorts films and just loved the whole process of the entertainment business.

I recently landed print jobs for Coca-Cola, X-Box, Go-Soft Wear, Tokyo Lingerie, Olympian Magazine, and Exercise for Men. I had the opportunity to work and be directed by Eminem in his hit video “My Band,” where I was also featured as his body double. After the Eminem video, I landed a promo on the History Channel for Jesse Owens and worked for Frederick’s of Hollywood Lingerie on KUSI channel as a male model. I’m making my mark in the fitness industry after shooting an informercial for Ab Lounge 3 and working with Bruce Jenner in his latest informercial.

I’ve been very persistent and can’t wait to see what the future holds for me. I’m been blessed to work with some very talented people. I want to thank everyone for the support and encouragement along the way. I will continue my journey!
