MOVIES Synopsis: 17-years-old Mickael (Johan Libéreau) is a captain of a judo team preparing for an important tournament that required funding. Everything would go differently had his family been financially equipped and has he not involved himself in a ménage à trois with his fiancée Vanessa (Salomé Stévenin) and his sparring partner Clément (Pierre Perrier) whose father sponsored his team. "Douches froides" (Titled "Cold Showers" in the US) is an intriguing French coming-of-age dramatic comedy. A well-acted one that scenes are played quite naturally like the "threesome affair" in the gym... how the lead characters so innocently enjoyed every second of it... how Mickael tries to cope with the emotional consequences of that tryst which he regretted in the end.
