BIOGRAPHY Choi Siwon, born February 10, 1987 in Korea, is an actor and musician, best known as a member of South Korean boy band "Super Junior".
Siwon was discovered by the Starlight Casting System in 2003 and soon joined under the agency of SM Entertainment. He was first officially seen in a music video of fellow label mate DANA when she was still a solo singer. On November 6, 2005, Choi officially debuted on SBS ( Seoul Broadcasting System) Inkigayo performing Super Junior's first single "TWINS (Knock Out)."
Siwon is one of the few members of Super Junior who actively appears on variety shows. Being active in variety shows, his popularity within Super Junior grew and Choi became quite popular overseas. Aside South Korea, Choi is particularly popular in China and Thailand. In early March, 2007. He has been picked up as the presenter of a Thai's powder and he went to Thailand to shoot this commercial. Siwon has been seen in television dramas and the silver screen. Shortly after Super Junior's debut, he joined the cast for the Korean drama mini-series Spring Waltz.
Siwon has also been part of the epic film A Battle of Wits (2006 film), a big budget film with joint collaboration from South Korea, China, and Japan. View GALLERY:
