BIOGRAPHY Harel Skaat, born August 8, 1981 in K'far Saba, is an Israeli singer who became famous after placing second in the 2nd season of the Kochad Nolad (A Star is Born) TV show contest in 2004.
Skaat released his first album, Harel Skaat, in the Summer 2006. Skaat brings to life in his debute album a collection of songs composed by Israeli icons such as Yizahar Ashdod, Keren Peles, Piter Ruth, Didi Shahar, Ohed Hitman, Esther Shamir & others.
Harel Skaat, his single V'At, and the album are all at the top of the Israeli charts and have won numerous awards. He will most likely become the most successful singer to have competed in "Kohav Nolad" (Star is Born).
Skaat has sung on the children's show Festigal and also served Israel in Eurovision, an annual competition held between active member countries of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), in which participating countries each submit a song to be performed on live television. View GALLERY:
