BIOGRAPHY Oh Jonghyuk, born February 16, 1983 in Seoul, is a Korean musician who debuted as a member of idol boy band "Click-B" in 1999.
Click-B, which is not active right now, but is not disbanded officially either, used to be consisted of 7 boys aged from 15 to 19 at the time. Click-B was the first and probably the last boy band in Korea that has unique combination of vocals, dancers, rapper, musicians (guitars, bass, drums, keyboards) all in one band, and therefore their music was more of mixed rock and dance.
Click-B was well known for its good looking members. Each boy was very young and had unusually outstanding good looks, naturally the band was called the 'best looking boy band' in K-pop history. Jonghyuk started off as the main vocals and bass guitarist of Click-B in their first album in 1999. But he gave up his bass and concentrated on singing and dancing and started writing songs and lyrics from the second album in Click-B. Jonghyuk was very talented in various parts including dancing and song writing, but he was more famous for his pretty face and feminine looks, was often mistaken for a girl.
In 2002, the band scaled down to 4 members with no guitars or drums, only the vocals and rappers. In 2006, Jonghyuk finally released his first solo album 'OJ ISSUE', after 6 albums with Click-B and now trying to escape from 'pretty boy' image of the past. View GALLERY:
