BIOGRAPHY Tyson Jay Ritter, born April 24, 1984 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, is the lead singer and bassist of "The All American Rejects".
Ritter graduated from Stillwater High School a year early to begin recording, later returning to graduate with the rest of his class. He met fellow AAR bandmate Nick Wheeler at a party, when Tyson was acting as a bouncer on the door. Nick was already in a band, but after the two got talking, Tyson was eager to start a new one with him and began to learn bass the next day. When the two had written the material for their first album, they took all their savings and drove to New York to record, using a drum machine in place of a drummer. Since joining, Tyson has found great success in The Rejects. The band has taken home many awards and honors.
Aside from his music career, Ritter and his bandmates appeared in TV shows such as "House M.D." , "Celebrity Undercover", and have their hit single "Dirty Little Secret" featured on the movie "John Tucker Must Die". He is scheduled to appear in the upcoming film "House Bunny." Official Site: www.allamericanrejects.com View GALLERY:
