BIOGRAPHY Christopher Ryan Trousdale, born June 11, 1985 in New Port Richey, Florida, is a solo artist, dancer and actor.
He has performed in various Broadway shows including "The Sound of Music" and "Les Miserables." He was also a member of the Broadway Kids (whose alumni include Christy Carlson Romano, Lacey Chabert and Greg Raposo) and recorded several CDs with them. In 1999, he was chosen to be one of the five members of the teen boy band Dream Street, created by Brian Lukow and Louie Baldonieri alongside Greg Raposo, Matt Ballinger, Frankie Galasso and Jesse McCartney. The group's debut album, released on edel Records in July of 2001, was #1 on Billboard's Top Independant Albums Chart it's first week of release and has gone on to sell a million copies nationwide.
In 2002, the band broke up over a legal dispute between the group. Chris has since gone solo, and is currently developing his own brand of music for his solo disc to be released sometime in 2005. "The Biggest Fan", co-starring Chris, will be released on homevideo and DVD in May of 2005 (the soundtrack featuring numerous reworked Dream Street tracks was released in 2002). Chris has also been a big seller on Radio Disney via his duet hits with girl group Play (a remake of "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me") and solo artist Nikki Cleary (remake of the Grease track "You're the One that I Want").
