Shirtless Boys in Leeches

I waited an entire year to see this flick after being shamelessly teased by some amazing publicity photos of the male cast members in speedos. I must admit, I was worried. I'd been disappointed before by director David DeCoteau. His low budgeted films have often failed to live up to their potential. But I must say, with Leeches, DeCoteau hits one right out of the ballpark. Hilarious at best, this is a film that contains more abs/pecs/bulges than acting, which is never a bad thing especially when they are paraded by studs Stephen Sowan, Matthew Twining, Josh Henderson, Michael Lutz, and Greg Lyczkowski, among others.

The amount of hot male eye candy on display in this feature is awe-inspiring. First, the scene with Josh Henderson tied up in bed being eaten by the fakest leeches I've ever seen is still vivid in my mind. Yum. The entire male cast is utterly gorgeous and no opportunity to exploit their sexiness is spared. The ladies barely show any skin while the guys spend most of the time stripped down to either speedos or less for no apparent reason. The sheer double standard against men is so unapologetic and unabashed, it's such a turn-on. Of course, there's no actual nudity but the silly, exploitative scenarios more than make up for that shortcoming.
