This year's edition of the Cosmopolitan Philippines Magazine recently unveiled its top centerfold hunks and the men are sexy and oozing sex appeal. Sambag's Mailbox: Falling for Straight Guys

Dear Sambag,

First, I would like to congratulate you for your amazing blog. I visit it everyday. I thought I should ask you to help me with my problem since you're an expert when it comes to men.

I am gay, but I don't know why I always fall in love with straight guys?

It happens often to me, that I feel very attracted to straight guys. Currently, I am unhappily in love with a very nice co-worker (which says to be absolutely straight). I am wondering if you know a potential psychological reason behind that.

Dear Ryan,

I think the answer is pretty simple. Straight guys are usually not burdened with their sexuality from society like gay men are, and that enables them to be themselves more and thus appear sexier, since confidence = sexy. Many gay men simply don't have that, they still worry too much what other people think about them as they've been discriminated against.

Also it could be a little bit of the fact that the unavailability is making him even hotter. (i.e. we always want what we can't have) Like, the more unreachable something is, the more we tend to want it.

Remember though, it's your mind playing tricks on you. If this guy is straight, he's no good for you because having sex with a straight guy is a complete one-way street. They will NOT return the favors. You will have to do ALL the work in the relationship. It is not fair to you, at all. There's a reason you said 'unhappily' in love. Obviously, your love can only be consummated fully with another gay man who is able to share mutual attraction with you. You'll find him in time.

There are plenty of gay men to fit your personal niche, look in the Newspaper ads, Online Chat Rooms/Dating Sites, Dance Club/ Lounge, Everyday Life, and, of course, Referrals from friends, co-workers or family are hands down the best way to meet a guy. I wish you luck, buddy!

My New Obsession: Novak Djokovic
I'm so obsessed with this man right now. If you don’t already know about Novak Djokovic, then you should. He’s currently the third ranked tennis player in the world at just age 20, and is the last man to beat Federer at Montreal Masters last month. He’s through to the U.S. Open semis for the third straight grand slam this week, and it’s only a matter of time before he starts racking up the titles.

But above all that, he’s known for his great impersonations of just about every other player’s serve. This is from 2 days ago, after his win over Moya:

A Giancarlo Picture Moment

Introducing Terra TheBoy's new coverboy, Giancarlo, 21-year-old fresh faced from Florianópolis, Brazil. He stands 6" and 169 pounds. His favorite food is fish.
