Max and Enric's Gay Kiss in "El Cor de la Ciutat"

In the U.S., they have Luke and Noah in "As The World Turns" which became the first day time gay soap opera to showcase a gay kiss between two major characters. Not to be outdone, in Catalan, Spain, they have Max and Enric in the daily soap opera "El Cor de la Ciutat" (The Heart Of The City) which, I was told, is the most watched soap program in Catalan. The show airs on Catalan Channel TV3 and deals with life in Barcelona while raising sensitive topics like gay acceptance. Enric (Jordi Parés) and Max (Bernat Quintana), two of the young characters, try to live together as gay lovers. What is so great about all of this is that both actors are straight in real life and to think they are okay kissing another guy is pretty hot. Sure, gay men kissing are hot too but there's something about two straight men crossing traditional boundaries that gets my blood pumping. *SiGh
