On Display Men Model: Tyler Thomas

Tyler is a model with high ambitions. He hopes to become a top model, star in A-List movies, run for political office and maybe even become a Christian Evangelist. He has an outgoing personality and is passionate in all his undertakings. He entered the modeling realm when an agent approached him at a local nightclub. “The agent asked me to come to an open audition for his modeling agency,” Tyler informs me, “and I just took it from there. I’ve only been doing it for about four months now.” Despite his relative newness to modeling, Tyler has already completed successful magazine shoots and local promotions.

Before Tyler embarked on his modeling career, he was a top athlete. He played football at Liberty University and was a three time Junior National Boxing Champion. “I was the runner up at the 2007 National Golden Gloves,” he confides, “and was one fight away from making the 2007 Olympic trials. My whole life I dreamed of being a professional athlete but I missed that goal by the narrowest of margins. Now my goals are to become successful at everything that I venture into.”

When Tyler is out with friends, you can typically find him in a nightclub, party or bar. “Even though I’m not a big drinker, I love to go out with my buddies and have a good time. It’s a great way to meet new people. When I’m just relaxing, I love listening to music and coming up with new beats and lyrics. I have a passion for music and hope to someday make a rap or hip hop album. I love to dance and have considered joining a hip hop dance crew but, hey, I can’t do everything,” he jokes.
